With nearly 20 years experience in this field, the team has had a dramatic impact on day services and significant success in getting people with severe learning difficulties into work.
During 2006 the team exceeded all targets set for them. The different types of work that they found for clients included a Baker, Healthcare Assistant, Manual Worker, Catering Assistant and Administrator.
Working in Manchester
Pure Innovations has also been awarded with a contract with Manchester City Council to provide a supported employment service to people with a learning disability who live in the Manchester area.
Through the success of the previous four years the contact has been renewed until March 2009. The Manchester Team takes referrals through the Manchester Learning Disability Partnership in North, Central and South Manchester teams and has also supported students on the North Project to find work through links with Plant Hill College.
