Local stores at Stockport, Cheadle and Hazel Grove have been working with Pure Innovations since the beginning of the Embracing Diversity project.
Among the successful intiatives that Sainsbury's have trialled over the years is the Retail Experience, where language learners undertook a English course while gaining practical work experience while working at Sainsbury's. Click here to find out more.
Sainsbury's also was the first employer to offer their staff a secondment opportunity and Pure Innovations. Dave Ferrier was working as a Bakery Manager at the store when he decided to work at Pure Innovations on a three-month secondment scheme.
