The BBC aims to be a true reflection of the nations and regions it serves, both in terms of output and employment.
With a huge regional base in Manchester, it offers a range of opportunities from journalism and programme making, technical jobs such as sound and lighting, to admin support, as well as many work experience opportunities and trainee schemes.
Over the years, Pure Innovations has worked in partnership with the BBC to try new ways of working. Some of the initiatives that they have trialled are Discovery Days, a training scheme with some young care leavers, and they also employ someone to work in their HR office through the Hourswork scheme.
