As part of Pure Innovations' business portfolio, we run seven cafe bars and a full-time radio station. These are all run as commercial ventures raising money to reinvest back into the essential work that Pure Innovations undertakes.
The cafe bars serve a dual purpose; not only do they serve high quality food and fair trade drinks to paying customers, the cafes are also training venues in real commercial settings where people who attend day services can volunteer alongside trained catering staff.
For people who volunteer, the experience is invaluable as they not only learn about food hygiene, customer service and food preparation, but they also get the opportunity to interact with members of the public while doing a worthwhile job.
